Storm Eunice Causes Flooding And Trees Down Around County

Kerry County Council continues to monitor Storm Eunice this morning, but it appears the storm was not as bad as feared or forecasted in the Tralee area.

There are power outages around the county and anyone travelling later today is advised to expect fallen trees, branches and debris and other disruptions.

Kerry County Council received reports of flooding at Prince’s Quay in Tralee and there were trees down at the following locations which are being dealt with by Council crews.

– Burnham on Dingle-Ventry road

– Aghadoe Heights to Fossa road

– Swinemount, Firies

– Ahabeg, Lixnaw

– Poles down Coad X, Castlecove

– Tiernaboul, Killarney
