Guiheen with the first copy of Billy Ryle’s new book, Donor Organ
Transplants or Blind for the football, at the Organ Donors Memorial
Tree in Tralee Town Park on Thursday last. The tree was commissioned
in 2014 by Tim’s wife, Mairéad Fernane, who died recently. Billy’s
book will be officially launched by Senator Martin Conway, the first
visually impaired person to be elected to the Oireachtas, at Kerry
Library, Moyderwell, Tralee on Thursday, 7th September 2023 at 7pm.
Net profit from the book in 2023 will be donated to the National
Council for the Blind of Ireland (NCBI).
