THE annual Connect Kerry Ladies Lunch, which took place in Lotties at The Ashe Hotel on Sunday, was a typically stylish affair.

Ladies enjoyed some bubbly on arrival followed by great food, fine wines and some invaluable  beauty and hair tips to get them through the party season.

Stylist Danny Leane and Beauty Expert Mary O’Donnell showcased some great looks from this season while Peter Mark had experts doing hair demos and brought along a goodie bag worth €50 for every lady attending.

As well as all this, there were some amazing spot prizes for the charity raffle, with the chosen charity partner this year Respite Kerry.

Kick Off Christmas In Style At Connect Ladies Lunch This Sunday

LADIES can kick off Christmas in style this Sunday, November 27, when the annual Connect Ladies Lunch takes place in Lotties at The Ashe Hotel, Tralee.

Expect some bubbly on arrival, great food, fine wines, style, beauty and hair tips, on what is always a fabulous afternoon and a great idea for a Christmas party or get-together for ladies.

Stylist Danny Leane and Beauty Expert Mary O’Donnell will be on the couch after lunch for a chat and they will showcase some great looks from this season.

Peter Mark have just launched their new look salon in Tralee, so they will have experts doing hair demos to show how to get that party look, and they have brought along a goodie bag worth €50 for every lady attending.

An Afternoon Of Fine Food And Fashion At Connect Kerry Ladies Lunch

CONNECT Kerry is preparing to host a fantastic event later this month, bringing ladies together safely for an afternoon of food and fashion.

While it couldn’t go ahead for obvious reasons last year, their annual Ladies Lunch returns and take place at The Ashe Hotel on Sunday, November 28.

They have a fantastic day lined up kicking off at 1pm with bubbly, gin, and other treats, lunch will be served at 2pm with fine wines and there will be a host of entertainment for the afternoon.

This will include how to restyle your wardrobe with founder and CEO of fashion site stylesearch.ie Shauna Cashell, who will dispense some great advice on the day.

The Bon Secours Cosmetic & Hair Restoration Clinic will also explain what services are available at their new state of the art service The new Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic (CHRC) at the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee.

The goodie bags are packed with luxury treats for all guests attending.

The day itself will have a charity raffle as always strongly supported by the local businesses of the county and this year’s will support the Phoenix Women’s Centre.

Speaking at the launch organizer Margaret Kissane said; “In these strange times we are in its so difficult to organize events, but the time has come to realise that after all this time Covid is going to be here for some time to come and we have to find a balance and live with it. Our event will be operating the requested covid control procedures with covid cert confirmation at the door, we will also be carrying out temperature checks to facilitate the safe attendance of our guests.”

THE party season in Tralee drew to a close on Sunday and Connect Kerry’s annual Ladies Lunch and Fashion Afternoon was a fitting way to see it out.

Around 80 ladies were in attendance at the event in The Ashe Hotel and they enjoyed some Skellig Gin or bubbly on arrival and could browse the fashion, crafts and food stands before going into the main room for a delicious four course luncheon with fine wines.

MC for the afternoon was Mary McCaffrey and there was fashion from local boutiques showcasing the latest styles. Emma Quirke Hair and Romy Birdthistle from Paradise Beauty  were on hand to provide many beauty tips and tricks.

OVER 130 ladies enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of food, fashion and much more at the annual Connect Kerry Ladies Lunch and Fashion Afternoon at the Ashe Hotel Tralee on Sunday.

With over €4,000 in spot prizes, many ladies didn’t go home empty handed and more than €2,200 was raised for Blennerville NS.

The event commenced at 12.30pm with a Christmas Bellini Reception and ladies  availed of the final make up touches at Alfie’s Powder Rooms. There was lots of gift ideas on display too before guest retired to the main room for a delicious 4 course luncheon with complimentary wines.

CONNECT Publications is hosting their annual Ladies Lunch and Fashion Afternoon at the Ashe Hotel Tralee, this Sunday, but there’s only a handful of tickets left.

STYLISH ladies enjoyed a wonderful afternoon in the Ballyroe Heights Hotel on Sunday for the Connect Kerry annual Ladies Lunch and Fashion Afternoon, which supported Moyderwell Mercy Primary School Tralee.

Around 100 ladies were greeted with a Champagne reception and had a chance to browse the beauty and fashion stands before the main event.

Guests then enjoyed by a five course luncheon with complimentary wines, fashion and beauty tips.

Elaine Stack of the Lingerie Room Listowel gave her top secrets on wearing the correct underwear for that party outfit, Aoife Hannon will give a mini workshop on creating your own headpiece for that special occasion and Brush N Blush Hair and Beauty Salon announced they were opening another salon at a new location in the town centre.

One lady, Karen Moore from Killarney, won Connect’s Facebook competition where she experienced a full style makeover thanks to Jasmine Boutique, Brush N Blush and That’s Perfect.

Ladies Lunch And Fashion Afternoon To Benefit Local School

Launching the Connect Kerry annual Ladies Lunch and Fashion Afternoon were, in front; Jonathan Collins, Ballyroe Heights Hotel with Margaret Kissane, Connect Kerry. CONNECT Publications is hosting their annual Ladies Lunch and Fashion Afternoon supporting  Moyderwell Mercy Primary School Tralee in Ballyroe Heights Hotel, Tralee, on Sunday, November 26.

The day will commence at 12.30pm with a Champagne reception and a gift exhibition, followed by a five course luncheon with complimentary wines, fashion and beauty tips.

Margaret Kissane, Publisher and Editor, Connect Magazine said: “We have always supported a local cause and proud to say  we have raised lots for many charities over the years. However, we have now chosen to support local schools going forward with our events for a term to enable us to give something back to that area of our community. So this year’s lunch will support Moyderwell Mercy Primary. It’s one of the many wonderful schools in the county and we hope you will join us and support them too, if it’s not your school don’t worry we will get to support your school very soon”.

The day will also feature festive tips on hair and beauty and an amazing finale is guaranteed from Brush ‘N’ Blush Hair and Beauty, Caheranne, Tralee,  Elaine Stack of the Lingerie Room Listowel will be giving her top secrets on wearing the correct underwear for that party outfit and Aoife Hannon will give a mini workshop on creating your own headpiece for that special occasion.

Boutiques from around the county will feature all the latest fashion trends for both men and women and of course the raffle supporting the school has amazing prizes which include a trip for two to England via Irish Ferries, designer shoes from Kate Appleby, Amy Huberman Bourbon collection and lots more.

Plus everyone gets to go and continue the evening in style at the famous after party with the very entertaining Sean Crowley.

Moira Quinlan Principal of Moyderwell School said; “We are delighted that Connect Kerry has chosen Moyderwell as the first school to begin their ‘supporting your local school’ campaign and is very welcoming of the support. We are looking forward to a lovely day.”

THE fourth annual Connect Ladies Lunch & Fashion Afternoon was another roaring success at the Ballyroe Heights Hotel yesterday, with those attending really pulling out all the stops in the style stakes.

Held in support of Recovery Haven Cancer Support House in Tralee, guests enjoyed a champagne reception, four course luncheon with wines, fashion show, beauty and cookings tips, entertainment and the famous after party late into the night with Sean Crowley.

The lunch was mc’ed by well known fashionista and blogger, Orlagh Winters and the Best Dressed Lady was judged by new fashion editor of Connect and RTE TODAY Stylist Orla Diffily who deemed Sharon Heffernan the most  stylish.
