CONNECT Kerry is hosting its annual Ladies Lunch and Fashion Afternoon at the Ashe Hotel Tralee, on Sunday January 5.

Renowned for hosting the event on the last Sunday in November, organiser of the event Margaret Kissane, explained the reason for the move.

“This year we felt, with Women’s Christmas falling on a Monday and so much happening on the lead up to Christmas, that we would change things round a little and so we have an action packed day ready for those who worked hard over Christmas and now have the chance to relax before getting back into the routine that January brings.”

The day will commence at 12.30pm with some bubbly and ladies can avail of bargains at the shopping village during the drinks reception,  then it’s off to the main room for a delicious four course luncheon with fine wines.

The Ashe have created a mouth-watering  menu and have even included their very popular slimmer’s choice which offers a delicious alternative for those who have started the healthy eating  plan on January 1st.

Fashion from local boutiques will showcase the top 5 sale bargains they feel are a must for your wardrobe and Emma Quirke Hair and Romy Birdthistle from Paradise Beauty  will be on hand to provide many beauty tips and tricks  for the upcoming spring events and family occasions.

More guest speakers will join the party on the couch to prepare you well for January and how best to get you and our family healthy, and lots lots more.

Tickets are €60 and are available from Margaret Kissane on 086 2408237, also available in That’s Perfect, and from the Ashe hotel.

Pre booking is essential and demand for tickets is high, so book now to avoid disappointment.

They would make an ideal Christmas gift and I think we all know a lady who would love to find these tickets on Christmas morning.

“A fantastic day is planned and our ladies get to continue the evening in style at the infamous after party with the very entertaining Sean Crowley,” said Margaret Kissane, Publisher and Editor, Connect Magazine.

“All in all a great day out is guaranteed as always, so don’t miss it. We have always supported a local cause with our events here in Connect and proud to say  we have raised lots for many charities over the years, however we have now choose to support local schools going forward with our events for a term to enable us to give something back to that area of our community, so this year’s lunch will support Tralee CBS Primary School.

“It’s one of the many wonderful schools in the county and we hope you will join us and support them too, if it’s not your school don’t worry we will get to support your school very soon.”
