Launching the Connect Kerry annual Ladies Lunch and Fashion Afternoon were, in front; Jonathan Collins, Ballyroe Heights Hotel with Margaret Kissane, Connect Kerry. CONNECT Publications is hosting their annual Ladies Lunch and Fashion Afternoon supporting  Moyderwell Mercy Primary School Tralee in Ballyroe Heights Hotel, Tralee, on Sunday, November 26.

The day will commence at 12.30pm with a Champagne reception and a gift exhibition, followed by a five course luncheon with complimentary wines, fashion and beauty tips.

Margaret Kissane, Publisher and Editor, Connect Magazine said: “We have always supported a local cause and proud to say  we have raised lots for many charities over the years. However, we have now chosen to support local schools going forward with our events for a term to enable us to give something back to that area of our community. So this year’s lunch will support Moyderwell Mercy Primary. It’s one of the many wonderful schools in the county and we hope you will join us and support them too, if it’s not your school don’t worry we will get to support your school very soon”.

The day will also feature festive tips on hair and beauty and an amazing finale is guaranteed from Brush ‘N’ Blush Hair and Beauty, Caheranne, Tralee,  Elaine Stack of the Lingerie Room Listowel will be giving her top secrets on wearing the correct underwear for that party outfit and Aoife Hannon will give a mini workshop on creating your own headpiece for that special occasion.

Boutiques from around the county will feature all the latest fashion trends for both men and women and of course the raffle supporting the school has amazing prizes which include a trip for two to England via Irish Ferries, designer shoes from Kate Appleby, Amy Huberman Bourbon collection and lots more.

Plus everyone gets to go and continue the evening in style at the famous after party with the very entertaining Sean Crowley.

Moira Quinlan Principal of Moyderwell School said; “We are delighted that Connect Kerry has chosen Moyderwell as the first school to begin their ‘supporting your local school’ campaign and is very welcoming of the support. We are looking forward to a lovely day.”
