STUNNING Sunday on Denny Street last certainly lived up to its billing as hundreds of fans were kept highly entertained well into the night by a multitude of hugely talented acts.
With seven bands taking to the stage last night in a line up that included ‘Ovie’, ‘5 Dollar Shakes’ and ‘The Geddes’, it was the arrival of much awaited ‘Hometown’ and ‘Only The Young’ that drew the biggest cheers from the younger members of the gathered audience.
These were later followed by the absolutely fantastic ‘Hudson Taylor’ and ‘ The Riptide Movement’ who closed out the night in typical explosive and spine-tingling fashion.
A hat tip must go to the Hudson Taylor for their mesmerizing performance of their song ‘Don’t Tell Me’ which will live long in the memory of this writer.
