Soccer Tournament At St Brendan’s Park FC Raises Thousands For Kenya Project

At the presentation of a cheque to the Kenya Education Project (KEP) on Saturday were; Ed O’Regan, Preston McEvoy, Eve McEvoy, Eddie Sheehy (KEP),  Christy Leahy, Triona Sheehy (KEP), Noah McCannon and Danny Mc Cannon.

THE KEP Cup in aid of Kenya Education Project raised a fantastic €2,750 from the recent soccer blitz held in Tralee.

There were 32 under 10 teams from clubs all over Munster taking part in the blitz on Saturday, June 8, hosted by St Brendans Park FC.

The event was a huge success with hundreds of kids and their families converging on the grounds for a feast of football.

Yesterday morning, Eddie Sheehy and his daughter Triona Sheehy from Kenya Education Project were delighted to accept the cheque to help continue their great charity work at Embulbul, Nairobi.
