LAST month we told you about the great mural on the side of the Slieve Mish Bar and how it was still a work in progress (see previous story here).
Well there’s been considerable progress to it since – as we realised when passing on Wednesday – and it’s really adding colour to the Boherbee area.
The lone Toucan has been joined by a little friend perched on a ship flying the Irish flag, while the clouds have become more clearly defined.

The artist, Migel Kryzi, who lives upstairs from the bar, has clearly been busy with the mural which bar owner Francis Galvin asked him to do.
Francis asked him to do something Guinness-related and Migel came up with the rest.
With the summer still a washout, it brings a bit of sunshine to passers-by.
