THE man in his 40s, arrested as part of the investigation into the fatal assault on Thomas Dooley at Rathass in Tralee on Wednesday, October 5, has been released without charge.
A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions. This was the third arrest made as part of this investigation.
Two men, 41 year old Thomas Dooley Bay 10, Halting Site, Carrigrohane Road, Cork and 35-year-old Patrick Dooley of 33 Arbutus Grove, Killarney, have appeared in court charged in relation to the fatal assault.
Gardaí are still appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward. Investigations are ongoing.
