DO you know your sport? Well a table quiz is being held next month with funds going towards a charity event for Pieta House in Tralee and clubs from around Kerry have already signed up to take part.
The event, which takes place in The Rose Hotel on Thursday, February 8, has been organised by Radio Kerry’s Terrace Talk host Tim Moynihan and friends Louise Ryan from Kilmoyley and Ted Cronin from Rathmore.
The trio are planning a skydive in aid of the charity in the spring and their hoping to sell as many tables as possible so they can help the Tralee branch of Pieta House. Tim explained why they had chosen that particular charity.

“There’s more awareness now about mental health issues and we want to make people aware of Pieta House’s services at Moyderwell in Tralee. Depression is everywhere now and happens to even the biggest of sports stars at times in their career,” said Tim.
Tim himself is the MC on the night and they have some great prizes. A club could win a training session by Aidan O’Mahony, a fitness centre is giving a €250 voucher and there will be a host of other spot prizes.
The quiz is open to anyone and it’s a team of four for €40. The quiz starts at 8pm. It’s going to be a great night so get some buddies together and have some fun on February 8.
