Tom Invites You To ‘Arrive And Jive’ At The Grand

You’ll be jiving in no time after Tom Jive’s classes.

SO what are you doing next Wednesday night. Flopping in front of the telly with a cup of tea and biscuits watching the soaps?

Well for the next four Wednesdays, you can get out of the house and head down to The Grand Hotel to meet new people, have fun, get some exercise and learn how to jive.

Tom Collins (better known as Tom Jive) has over 20 years dancing and teaching experience from all the dance halls in Ireland, London and Boston. Having won many competitions in different styles and been taught by great dance masters around the world.

Tom is now passing on his skills and vast experience to enthusiastic students in Ireland for the last few years holding classes all over the country where he gets great attendances.

Every Wednesday for the next four weeks (starting on October 3) he’ll be running his ‘Arrive And Jive’ beginners course in the Grand Hotel from 7pm.

Tom promises to turn absolute beginners into competent dancers by Week 4.

He teaches the ladies steps and shows the gentlemen how to properly hold their partners. More experienced dancers can improve their timing and learn new moves.

You can bring your own partner or Tom will pair you with another student, all you have to do is ‘Arrive and Jive’.

“After my 4 week Jive Course you will feel confident dancing at your next Wedding or Social event,” says Tom.

From 7pm to 8.15pm its jive only, dancing to the music of Nathan Carter, Derek Ryan and more, while 8.30pm to 10pm it’s a class that includes old time waltz basics.

He also has classes starting in Kilcooleys in Ballybunion on Tuesday, October 2, from 8pm to 9.30pm and in the Torc Hotel, Killarney on Thursday, October 4 from 7pm.
