THE sun was out this afternoon as the Tralee 800 celebrations got underway in earnest with a great performance of music in the Square on Friday afternoon.
The Mayor of Kerry was on hand to welcome the Mid West Youth Orchestra from Chicago, who were a late addition to the programme and really entertained the crowds with numbers from musicals and much more.
It’s just the beginning of an incredible weekend of entertainment where tonight The Square will rock to Chapter 2, The Raglans and Delorentos. Tomorrow sees fun for all the family all over town, but especially in the Town Park area. For more check out the programme here.
