Speaking at the AGM, John Reen, Chair of the Chamber’s Steering Groups, highlighted the pivotal role the steering groups play in shaping the trajectory of the community.

Highlighting the significance of Tralee Chamber in the town’s development, Reen said; “Tralee is too big a town not to have a viable and functioning Chamber, and I believe we have that. A lot of that is due to the exceptional leadership shown by our outgoing President Nathan McDonnell and our CEO Colette O’Connor.”

On Friday, Tralee Chamber held its annual Presidents lunch at The Rose Hotel attended by over 200 people.

Speaking at the lunch, Colette O’Connor CEO of Tralee Chamber presented an overview of progress Tralee Chamber has made in 2023, saying: “membership has grown by 78%, while, either directly or indirectly, Tralee Chamber has supported seven festivals and events in Tralee. 2023 also saw the Chamber lobbying for increased connectivity from Kerry Airport, while also being represented on the Shannon Estuary Taskforce Tourism sub-group.”
