Tralee Gardaí To Welcome Public To Open Day At John Mitchels GAA Club

THE community policing unit at Tralee Garda Station are hosting an Open Day at John Mitchels GAA Complex, Tralee, on Saturday next between 12pm and 4pm.

This event takes place during the Rose of Tralee Festival and the theme is embracing “Community Inclusiveness” .

It is an opportunity for members of the public to come and meet their local gardaí.

There will be a number of Garda Vehicles on display on the day, the Garda Dog Unit, the Mounted Unit, the Air Support Unit (weather permitting), the Fire Service, Civil Defence, Ballybunion Cliff and Coastal Rescue, the Defence Forces, the Irish Red Cross, and many more.

The Road Safety Authority will also be in attendance with their mobile unit, and the “Shuttle & Roll” Crash Simulator, as will a GO Safe Speed Van.  It will also be an opportunity to meet with some of the Roses & Escorts from the International Rose of Tralee Festival.
