Girls U11 Imperials A (Blues)
Girls U11 Imperials A (Blues) had their second competitive game of the season against St. Paul’s (Killarney). The girls got off to a flying start with some excellently executed lay-ups. St. Paul’s pressed hard in the second and third quarter but the girls remained focussed, despite losing Millie O’Brien to a knee injury early in the third quarter. Well done to all the girls who played their hearts out. Thanks to St. Paul’s for their friendly welcome and all who came along to support. Special mention for Grace Reilly who subbed up at very short notice from the U10 Academy on the night to complete the team: Aoife Barrett, Abbie Canty, Katie Casey, Eva Costello, Rita Feely, Kelly Fitzgerald, Mary Angela Lynch, Millie O’Brien, Grace Reilly, Lisa Slattery.
The Navy Girls U11 Imperials B in the Academy Division 1 had their 2nd game of the season on Saturday 28th October.

Girls U11 Imperials B (Navys) celebrated their first win in the league when they travelled away St. Colman’s (Milltown).
The Imperials were trailing by 4 points going into the final quarter, but a mix of guts and pure determination saw the girls play a thrilling fourth quarter with spectators at the edge of their seats as Imperials scored two baskets to level the score and went on to score another 2 baskets before the final whistle. Thanks to St. Colmans for their welcome and the supporters were amazing on the night.
