A TRALEE Imperials player was one of a number of players with Kerry clubs who received honours at the Basketball Ireland 2016 All-Stars.

Five players from each of the four divisions in the National League received All-Star awards with honourable mentions for the second and third picks at the weekend.

Rheanne O’Shea from the Tralee club received a Women’s Division One All Stars award.

The players were voted on each month by National League coaches from the start of the season right through to the end of February.

“We’re delighted to honour the very best of our leagues for the 2015-16 season,” said Women’s National League Commissioner Matthew Hall. “Bringing back All Star awards in 2015 proved very popular and once again in 2016 the best and the most consistent players in Ireland are recognised.”
