THE number of people signing on in Tralee dropped slightly last month.

In the latest Live Register figures for Kerry from the CSO, it showed Tralee’s jobless figure dropped 17 to 4,535.

Overall there has been a 13% drop in the number of people on the Live Register in Kerry in the 12 months.

There were 10,863 people signing on in the county at Kerry’s seven social welfare offices in February, 1,640 fewer than the same month last year, a 13% drop.
