Tralee RFC Raises Over €2,900 For Kerry Hospice

Maura Sullivan of Kerry Hospice received a cheque for €2,900 from Tralee RFC members on Wednesday.

TRALEE Rugby Club raised over €2,900 in memory of its former club president this with a Movember campaign in aid of Kerry Hospice Foundation.

The Tralee J1s senior team wanted to recognise the fantastic care staff at the Palliative Care Unit gave Seán Kelly before he passed away and great work that is done all year around by the centre.

The team also wanted to raise awareness about the health issues men face every day of their lives. The rugby club has been an outlet for men, young and old, for over 138 years.

All proceeds raised were shared between the Kerry Hospice Foundation and supporting the Tralee J1 team into the future and over the charity received €2,900 on Wednesday from the club.
