A MAN that climbed the steps of Croke Park and accepted the Sam Maguire for Kerry with one of his club mates, called an end to his inter-county career yesterday.
Kieran O’Leary, made the announcement on Twitter yesterday and got a great reaction from GAA followers from all over the country.
The 30-year-old Dr Crokes man made a pretty classy statement that looked back at his time in green and gold and wished his former teammates all the best for the future.
