Two Collections For Donations In Aid Of Ukrainian Refugees

DONATIONS are invited for two separate collections for trucks leaving for the Ukrainian border with Poland from Tralee next week to help refugees.

People are asked to call to O’Neill’s Transport at Dromtacker, Tralee (Eircode; V92Y967) or to the Tralee International Resource Centre at St Patrick’s Bungalows in Boherbee anytime between 8am and 4pm between now and this Friday .

Meanwhile, Gary Lowham of Garyowen Transport is organising a collection at the old DPD depot at Monavalley Industrial Estate (Eircode: V92P21K)  on this Saturday from 12 noon to 5pm.

Items needed for donation are blankets; bedding (sheets, duvets); toiletries; first aid (bandages, dressings); winter clothes; nappies; Non-perishable food; baby food; energy bars; torches.

People are asked to pack the donations according to their contents in separate labelled bags or boxes, for example baby food, nappies etc. This will save time sorting out the donations at the point of destinations.
