Ultan Dillane Part Of Ireland’s Summer Training Squad For World Cup

FORMER Tralee RFC player Ultan Dillane has been named in the 44-man summer training squad ahead of September’s Rugby World Cup in Japan.

Ireland coach Joe Schmidt picked the players for the pre-Rugby World Cup camps, and four friendlies to be played in August and September against England, Italy and Wales twice.

The Connacht player, capped 14 times for his country, will he hoping to make an impact over the coming months to put him in contention for a place on the final squad heading to Japan in September.  Ireland play their opening game of the tournament in Yokohama against Scotland on September 22.
