KERRY ETB Training Centre and Code Institute are offering 14 fully-funded places on their upcoming Software Development Diploma (Full Stack) qualification which starts on May 27 in Tralee.
In a first for Kerry, this accelerated bootcamp programme is the only classroom version of this highly acclaimed course run outside of Dublin and employment prospects are high – with 86% of Code Institute graduates finding full time work within 6 months of gaining their qualification.
This is a globally recognised Diploma in Software Development for career starters and career changers who wish to qualify as a work-ready software developer in just 12 weeks.
Successful applicants will complete a 5-Day Coding Challenge and Recruitment Interview. Places are being filled on a first come, first served basis.
Professionally, students can come from any background as the course is designed to take people from little or no knowledge of coding to job ready software developer.
The ideal student will have attempted one of the free coding course online tools, like Udemy or Code Academy. This will show a previous desire to learn to become a coder.
Tuition fees are normally €8,900 per learner – but the places on this course are free of charge.
The first round of interviews for those who have successfully passed the 5 Day Coding Challenge takes place W/C 15 April, with another round scheduled for early May.
