A VERY special event will take place this Sunday in aid of St Ita’s and St Joseph’s School’s campaign to buy a new bus.
The Holy Spirit Choir from St Paul, Minnesota in the United States will be performing a concert at Our Lady and St. Brendan’s Church from 8pm.
Formed in 1936, the choir is currently on a tour of Ireland and their performance on Sunday will include ‘God Breathe’ (Courtney), ‘Canon Of Praise’ (Hopson), ‘On Eagle’s Wings’ (Wagner) and many more.

All donations collected at the door will go towards the school bus fundraiser. The entry fee is €10 and everyone is welcome to attend.
The school’s campaign has been a huge success through a number of fundraising activities including a table quiz, fundraising run, Tesco blue tokens community fund, donations from businesses and more.
The campaign to raise funds for the bus, which will be used for transporting children on school trips and activities, has now raised over €35,000.
