The race will be run over a section of the full and half-marathon route – and will give runners a flavour of what to expect from the Tralee International Marathon and Half-Marathon which takes place on Saturday, March 18.

The race starts in the Tralee Wetlands Centre, for the first two miles of the race you are running on the full marathon route as far as Caherslee roundabout where you will turn left and head towards the Spa.

Along this section of the route you will pass the burial place of the legendary Mary O’Connor, the Rose of Tralee, at Clogherbrien.

Just before you reach the Spa you will turn left and head back to Tralee through the Kerries from here on in you will follow the exact route of the Tralee International full-marathon.  The route runs alongside the canal in Blennerville.

The race will finish in Tralee Town Park at the Ashe Memorial Hall, the same finish line as the full and half marathons.
