The inflatable minion made headlines around the world after it blew into traffic in Santry last Monday.

The now world-famous giant Minion that worked its way loose last week and attacked traffic in Santry is currently getting patched up and is all set to make an appearance at this year’s Rose of Tralee Festival.
According to a spokesman from Funderland quoted in the Irish Times today, they said the 40 foot tall yella fella is hospitalised and being put back together at the moment, but should be all set for a trip to Tralee next week.
It will no doubt draw a massive crowd to the festivities with the ‘Despicable Me’ characters loved by both young and old for their quirky appearance, strange language and their humorous shenanigans.
