KERRY minor hurler Shane Conway is giving Tipp star John ‘Bubbles’ O’Dwyer a run for his money for best goal scored in an All-Ireland Final over the weekend. (video below)
Captain Conway showed silky wrist-work to net Kerry’s first goal in the Kingdom’s 4-17 to 3-11 All-Ireland B Final win in Semple Stadium on Saturday.
The move starts with the Lixnaw teenager picking up the sliotar 30 metres out from the goal, he then races towards the Meath rearguard and delightfully lifts the ball over an onrushing defender taking two players out in the process and coolly slots the ball to the net.
The victory secured an imperious fifth All-Ireland minor B title in a row for Kerry and cemented the county’s domination of the grade.
Shane Conway who went on to lift the cup and finished the afternoon with a total of 1-8 of the side’s overall tally. Interesting times ahead with guys like this coming through…
