A FUNDRAISING collection by two local women has raised €1,000 for Banna Rescue.
Fidelma Fitzgerald of ‘The Wavers’— a group of women who swim regularly in Banna — was joined by a friend at Ardfert village on Saturday and Sunday, July 29/30 to collect funds with the aim of putting it towards buying a beach buggy at Banna Beach.
Fidelma wished to thank everyone who contributed over the weekend and presented the proceed of €1,000 to Banna Rescue earlier this week.
