WORK is continuing on the Tralee-Fenit Greenway and on Monday workers began installing the underpass on the Spa to Churchill road.

The Council has closed the Ballymakegoge (Spa to Churchill) Road to public traffic  for a three week period until February 21.

The purpose of the road closure is to facilitate the installation of the underpass on the Tralee/ Fenit Greenway.

Diversions are clearly signposted and local access will be provided for emergency services and local residents.

Domnick Walsh was out with his drone on Monday and captured the workers putting the underpass in place.

The full Greenway is due to open by June, however it is hoped the Spa to Fenit section will be accessible prior to the Greenway’s full completion.
