THOUSANDS turned out on the streets of Tralee once again last night for the annual extravaganza of colour and noise that is the Rose parade.

A dry evening proved perfect for the masses gathered along Castle Street and Denny Street as the parade — always a highlight of the Rose of Tralee/Féile Thrá Lí festival — made its way through to the Denny Street stage.

As always, the evening culminated with the wonderful fireworks display while there was plenty entertainment into the night for the crowds to enjoy. Scroll down for photos…

FAMILIES gathered from early on on the streets of Tralee to get a good view of the Rose parade last night.

There were banners all around the route in support of the various Roses and their girls reciprocated their enthusiasm with frantic waving to their families and friends.

We took some photos of the masses to capture the great atmosphere of the night…
