GARDAI are investigating after the death of a baby in Killarney tonight.
The Deputy State Pathologist, Dr Margot Bolster, is due at the town centre apartment on Upper High Street where the body of an 11 month old boy is at the scene.
The scene has been sealed off for forensic examination. A man aged in his 30s was seriously injured in the apartment. He has been taken to University Hospital Kerry.
