Social Media and New Website

An official page for Kerry Badminton is now live at www.facebook.com/kerrybadmintonassociation. We hope to keep this page up to date with all badminton news throughout the season. All Kerry clubs are encouraged to submit their own local news and photographs which will be promoted through the association page.

Work will also shortly commence on a new website for Kerry Badminton Association. This is a long term project but should be complete in the coming months.

Ballybunion Baseliners

At a time when many sports clubs in rural Ireland are struggling to survive it is refreshing to see the re-establishment of a new badminton club in Ballybunion. A popular sport in the area until the club was disbanded back in the late 1990s is now back for the local community to enjoy under a striking new name. Huge credit to Chairperson of the new club Mike Walsh and all those that helped get it off the ground. Training times are Tuesdays and Thursday between 9pm and 11pm and Friday mornings 11am to 12pm at Ballybunion Community Centre. Anyone interested in joining the club can contact Ciara on 087 1469429 or contact the club through www.facebook.com/ballybunionbaseliners

After 43 consecutive years of service at the helm as Chairman of Kerry Badminton Association the great Junior Griffin has made the decision to step down ahead of the 2018/19 season.
