A SIGHT that brings festive cheer to all approaching the town at Christmas time returned last night, as the Christmas lights were switched on at Ballygarry Estate.

They enjoyed seasonal refreshments in the Pavilion, with Santa making an appearance for the little ones. The children’s names were put into a hat and Zach Shanahan’s name was drawn out to give him the honour of pressing the ‘red button’ to switch on the tree.
Well done to Ballygarry for providing a wonderful festive welcome for visitors at the gateway to our town which will be officially lit up for Christmas this Saturday at 5pm in The Square. Scroll down for photos…
