Kerins O’Rahillys 7-9 Ballymac4-7 .
We played in difficult weather conditions in this third round game at Ballyrickard. Kerins O’ Rahillys having won the toss played with the aid of a very strong wind and put up a score of 6-7 in the first half.We were finding it difficult to get the ball up the field against such a breeze. However we continued to try in the second half and we came more and more into the game. Liam drove forward on a number of occasions and our inside line worked very hard. The lads had some good passages of play but ran out of time to pull the game back. Best on night were Liam, Bryan, Dean, and David. We play Ardfert in our next outing.
FAOI 11
The U11 town league started with a home fixture against Ardfert on Tuesday the 21st of July last. Players who impressed on the night were Oisin Shanahan, Maurice o Connell and Jared O Briain. The U11s are out again this week playing Kerins O Rahillys at home at 6.30pm this Tuesday and Austin Stacks at 7.00pm this Thursday.
FAOI 10
Our U10 team took part in the Annual John Mitchels Blitz on Saturday last. We were unfortunate to lose our first 3 games to Castlegregory, Desmonds and Austin Stacks where luck was not on our side on a few occasions. However, we finished on a high note with two very good victories over St. Pats and John Mitchels.
The most important aspect of the day was all 18 players getting as much play time as possible and enjoying the occasion. Many thanks to John Mitchels for their invitation and well done to Kevin McMahon and his team for the excellent organisation of the event. The academy took place on Sunday the 26th. Training for the U10 boys will take place on Wednesday evening at the usual time. No Academy on Sunday the 2nd of August as Kerry are playing Kildare in the All-Ireland Senior Quarter Final in Croke Park.
FAOI 8

The academy took place on Sunday morning and best on the day were Eoin Joy, Luke Silles, and Maurice Shanahan . No Academy on Sunday the 2nd of August as Kerry are playing Kildare in the All-Ireland Senior Quarter Final in Croke Park.
