STUDENTS and staff at MTU will be out in force to raise funds for GOAL this Christmas with a special event next week.
A GOAL Mile will take place on Wednesday, November 29 at 1pm. The walk will start from the entrance of the Kerry Sports Academy at the MTU North Campus and organisers are asking for everyone to join them and get involved.
There will be a wonderful atmosphere at the Goal Mile event with everyone dressed up in their festive jumpers, Santa hats and costumes. Wear your best Christmas jumper and be in with a chance to win “best dressed” prizes.

The GOAL Mile is a renowned and long-standing event that helps raise funds to transform the lives of the world’s most vulnerable people.
Weather permitting the walk will take place on the grounds on the North Campus, alternatively if the weather is poor the event will take place in the sports hall area.
Dogs are welcome once on a lead at all times for the outdoor route. Refreshments and Christmas treats will be available after the event.
You don’t need to register in advance but simply show up to the event, walk a mile and contribute whatever you can afford to GOAL on the day. There will be a donation bucket on the morning for voluntary donations.
