However, around 20 minutes later, a person came to the door and tried to push it in, damaging the door in the process. They did not gain entry.

If anyone saw anything or experienced something similar on the morning in question, they are asked to contact Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.

On Friday, November 17, Gardaí received a call that the burglar alarm on the Caherina Day Hospital on Spa Road was activated.

A male was seen leaving the scene on a bicycle heading in the Spa Road direction. A screwdriver was used to pry open a window but the person left without entering. Gardai are again appealing for any witnesses to the incident.

  1. Besides asking for Witnesses each week The Garda need to Come out of the Garda station and do your proper jobs and policing the town center …..The town is gone to hell . I live in the town centre and am seriously considering moving away as the place is becoming a no go area at night time with anti social behaviour drug dealing and drunks
