THE price of petrol is on the rise again this month.

We took our monthly spin around town to see where was the cheapest place to fill up.

As of Friday morning, the cheapest place to fill up in town is at  the Applegreen stations in Fairies Cross and Manor, with a price of €1.41.8 per litre. This is up when we surveyed the stations one month ago and the cheapest was Top at the Horan Centre at €1.39.9 per litre.

This is the fourth month in a row where the petrol price has risen. At the beginning of the year, petrol could be bought for as low as €1.26.8 a litre.
