CLUB AGM: The Senior Club AGM goes ahead in the Clubrooms on this Sunday (15th Jan) commencing at 1.30pm.
SENIOR FOOTBALL: Billy Lee has announced his Management Team for the coming season with two new men coming on board – David Lavin and Brian Morgan – and two more from previous seasons – Mikey Collins and Damien Ryall. David has won both Football and Hurling Championships with his local Club, Adare and Brian, of course, is a former Stacks player and father of current player, Jack.
CLUB PLAYERS: Congratulations to former Club Footballer Denis Costello and his wife Jane on the birth of their third baby girl. And congrats also to current Club Footballer Fiachna Mangan and his girl friend Katie O’Mahony who got engaged recently.
WELL DONE: to Rathmore and Fossa as they progress to their respective All Ireland Finals with good wins at the week-end. And what a performance by Kerins O’Rahillys in their semi final clash against Kilmacud Crokes. Going into the final quarter they trailed by seven points (1-11 to 0-7) and can consider themselves very unlucky not to have come away with the spoils after a brilliant last quarter performance – Kilmacud winning with just three points to spare at the end (1-14 to 0-14).

CLUB LOTTO: This week’s (9th Jan) Jackpot, worth €3,000 was not won. The numbers drawn were 8, 15, 16, 17. The €20 winners were John & Phil Breen, Pat Carmody, Paudie Hayles and Eoin Muckian, all c/o The Club; and Aileen Riordan, c/o Carmel O’Neill.
Next Week’s Jackpot will be worth €3,050.
