Another great Rock Under 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 turnout for training in Mounthawk Gym is expected for Sunday morning next. Amchlár an Domhnaigh: (i) Under 6 – 10am; (ii) Under 8 – 11am; (iii) Under 10 – 12.00.
PEIL FAOI 12:
We had a big turnout last Sunday in wonderful sunshine. Our Under 12 boys’ action next Sunday will be idir 1.30pm agus 2.45pm i bPáirc na mBan Rialta (Nuns’ Field), Connolly Park. We are gearing up for the forthcoming County League in which we are paired in Division 1 with Kilcummin, Glenflesk, Dr Crokes, Ballymac and Laune Rangers and our third team is in with Annascaul/Lios Póil, Kilcmmin B, St Pats, Kilgarvan and Listry. A lot of great games ahead!
SCÓR NA bPÁISTÍ:
Scór na bPáistí for the Greater Tralee Area will be held on Friday 11th March in the ITT (North Campus). 11 clubs are entitles to take part in the area; ní nach ionadh, every club is entitled to participate. The 8th competition [Tráth na gCeist(eanna)] will NOT be held for the Tralee Area as all clubs are invited to send a team of 4 directly to the county final on 17th April. (Participation in Scór is important for the obtaining of Gaeltacht scholarships for club members).
PEIL FAOI 14:
Our under 14 have now moved outdoors and our preparations for the new season are well underway. The County League sees us in Division 1 with Dr Crokes, Laune Rangers, Gaeltacht, Na Gaeil and Legion. Our Bs are paired with Ballymac, Dr Crokes, Firies and Miltown/Castlemaine. Great challenges to be overcome!!
PEIL FAOI 16:
Training will continue for this group on Wednesdays and on Fridays. We eagerly await the the Central League fixtures. Our games will commence in mid March.
