CAHERLEAHEEN staff and pupils are getting ready for a fantastic fundraising day at The Rose Hotel with a ‘Bingo Bonanza’ afternoon.

It’ll be ‘eyes down’ at 2pm on Sunday, February 4, with well over €1,500 in prizes and a huge crowd is expected.

The event is open to the general public and Principal of the school, Mary Connolly, is hoping for a huge crowd on the day with all proceeds going towards their ‘Literacy Lift-Off’ programme.

It’s not only cash prizes that will be given out. There’s also a raffle with a grand prize of a weekend away for two at the luxurious Cabra Castle in Co. Cavan.

Another prize is an escorted tour of Leinster House including lunch for two and there’ll also be €50 vouchers for local businesses to be won.

All the businesses who donated prizes and cash will have their names advertised in the venue. There’ll be ten games on the day with kids, singles and double books. It’s set to be a fun afternoon, so if you fancy winning some cash, head to The Rose Hotel on Sunday, February 4 at 2pm.
