The derelict house in Camp with a €8,000-€12,000 price tag that sold for €61,000.

A HOUSE in Camp, that had been put up for sale in an online auction for between €8,000 and €12,000, eventually sold for €61,000 last week.

And a four-Bedroom house in Causeway, with the same reserve price range fetched €22,000 in the Allsop online auction on Wednesday, November 25.

The derelict cottage at Duagh, Camp – a single storey dwelling beneath a pitched roof,
with a site area extending to approximately 0.48 hectares (1.18 acres) – is located along an unnamed road which is accessed off the Tralee to Castlegregory road and fetched around five times its reserve.

The house in Causeway which sold for €22,000.

The detached four bedroom house at Ardagh, Causeway, – 6km from Causeway village – extending to approximately 96 sq. m (1,033 sq. ft) went for double its reserve of €22,000.

The house in Waterville which sold for €90,000.

A healthier looking property in south Kerry at Rivercrest, Spunkane, Waterville – a detached three bedroom house extending to approximately 132 sq. m (1,421 sq. ft) – had a reserve of between €90,000 and €100,000 and it eventually sold for €90,000.
