A CANDLELIGHT vigil will be held in Pearse Park, Tralee tonight (Wednesday) at 10pm in memory of those lost to suicide.
September 10 is World Suicide Day and at 10pm worldwide people will light candles.
The organisers wish to point out that this is a candle vigil only, lanterns are not permitted at this event for safety reasons.
The vigil lasts about 20 mins and they are expecting a crowd of about 80 people. A guitarist/singer will play in the background for the duration.
People are encouraged to bring a candle although some will be available on the night.
