Celtic Steps Present Donation To Recovery Haven Thanks To Don O’Neill

Sean Murphy & The O’Neill Sisters of Celtic Steps The Show present a donation to Maureen O’Brien and Kathleen Collins of Recovery Haven Kerry.

CELTIC Steps The Show has presented a donation of €500 to Tralee based Charity,Recovery Haven Kerry in association with celebrated Kerry designer, Don O’Neill.

This summer, Don O’Neill visited the Show in the Brandon Hotel, Tralee on a flying visit home from New York where he is stationed with global fashion house, Theia.

On the trip he kindly gifted some of his recent designs, (in the form of crystallised couture gowns) to the Show’s three singers, the O’Neill Sisters to wear for the remainder of the season in return for a donation to the designer’s favourite charity, Recovery Haven.

Co. Owner and Producer of Celtic Steps The Show, Sean Murphy commented; “Recovery Haven is a cause close to Don’s heart and indeed the hearts of many people in thecommunity. I think everyone in Kerry is in awe of the work that they do and the difference they make to those families touched by cancer so we were delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to such a worthy cause”.

Recovery Haven and its volunteers work tirelessly to help provide those affected by cancer, and their families, the ongoing support they need including counselling, drop-in services, support groups and one to one therapy.

Marketing & PR Officer of Recovery Haven, Marisa Reidy added; “We would like to express our extreme gratitude to the Celtic Steps team who kindly donated €500 to our charity during their wonderful run in Tralee over the summer. The donation was arranged with producers Sean Murphy and David Rea in collaboration with Ballyheigue Designer, Don O’Neill. Thank you so much to all involved for your amazing support. What a wonderful gesture”.
