BALLYDUFF Vintage Club are calling on tractor enthusiasts from around the county to join them on Sunday, June 26th as they host their eagerly-awaited charity Tractor Run.

Three charities are to benefit from this year’s event – Recovery Haven Kerry, Ard Cúram and the Irish Air Ambulance –  with the run setting off from Ballyduff village at 1pm on Sunday.

Organisers are asking participants to register at the village Square from 11am, with a minimum entry fee of €20 being sought, which also entitles drivers to a commemorative plaque and a food/refreshment voucher.

The run will see drivers leave Ballyduff and travel down the Cashen, along the Ferry Road, onto Lissetlon, through Ballybunion, Ladies Walk and back to Ballyduff for 3pm.

On their return, drivers can enjoy some well-earned food and refreshments in The Square, courtesy of John McHale.

And if you’re thinking of bringing the little ones with you on Sunday, the local club are also organising a children’s pedal tractor run in The Square at 12 noon.

The official tractor run will be followed by entertainment at Your Man’s Bar, Ballyduff, with Dreams of Freedom from 3-6pm, followed by music with Big Jim.

Given that this is a charity event, the club and charities involved will have a number of collectors in the village before and after the event, as well as along the route, so please be sure to support them if you can.
