In the Junior Premier Championship Churchill have been drawn in Group 2 along with Skellig Rangers, Listry and Ballydonoghue. The top team progress to the Semi-Final, while the bottom team enters the relegation playoff.

Our seniors are due to play Ardfert this weekend in Ardfert in Round 4 of the St Brendan’s League. Keep an eye on Facebook for through in details. After 3 wins from our opening 3 games Churchill will be looking to keep momentum going against our near neighbours.

Juveniles: The juveniles are getting their seasons underway and some teams have a few training sessions under their belt already. The club are running a training course for all underage mentors commencing on Monday 19th Feb at 8pm in the community centre in the Spa. All mentors are reminded to get their Garda Vetting applications submitted as soon as possible with a view to having all mentors vetted by the end of February.  While we had a very successful registration evening we are still accepting registration from players who couldn’t make it on the night. Please contact any of the Executive or message us on our Facebook page.

Lip Sync: Following on from the success of last years Strictly Come Dancing, Churchill GAA will be hosting a Lip Sync Battle on the May Bank Holiday Weekend. More details will be available in the coming weeks and keep an eye on our Facebook page for more details.

Churchill Ladies Club: Churchill ladies are still accepting new members for this season. You can request a registration form by texting 087 9740240 or 087 9719456 or message us on Facebook at Churchill Ladies Football Club. We are accepting U10 to U 17 this year. There will be a district Championship for U17 girls and possibly a league, which is brilliant to keep the older girls playing football.
