Diverse Line-Up Of Guests For ‘The OtherSide’ This Friday In Benners

Tralee musician Gary Keane is one of the guests lined up for The Otherside this Friday night in Benners.

AFTER a very successful inaugural event in February, The OtherSide event is back on this Friday, May 19 in Benners Hotel, Tralee at 8:30pm, with another great line up and free admission.

The OtherSide is a new event for Tralee, in the form of a traditional style late-night talk show set in a relaxed setting.

The team behind The OtherSide have again put together a diverse line-up of guests, with great stories for you to enjoy.

Acclaimed film director Bob Jackson will join us to discuss his recent movie the IFTA nominated ‘A Doctors Sword’, which tells the incredible story of how Aidan MacCarthy, a young doctor from Castletownbere, West Cork survived some of the most harrowing episodes of World War II.

Kerry native Louise Galvin, who is a professional ruby player with the Irish ladies 7’s rugby team, will chat about life as a pro athlete, and the huge growth of women’s rugby in Ireland in recent years.

Also dropping by for a chat will be web designer Aidan O’Carroll, from Avalanche Designs, and Danny Ryan aka The Scruffy Comic will provide the laughs. Music is from Gary Keane and his famous beatbox.
