THE OtherSide — a late-night talk show style event, in a relaxed, intimate setting — was back in Tralee on Friday night.
Held at Maddens Cafe in the town centre, for a sold-out show, as part of Culture Night in Kerry it featured a great line-up of guests including Michael Keegan Dolan, an award-winning Choreographer and Director, Irish Olympian Monika Dukarska and RTE/ TG4 video journalist & filmmaker Seán Mac an tSíthigh.
Michael Keegan Dolan discussed his recent acclaimed shows Mám and How to be a Dancer in Seventy-Two Thousand Easy Lessons, and his collaborations with musician Cormac Begley, as well as his adopted home of west Kerry.

Monika Dukarska, a Polish native who settled in Killorglin as a teenager, developed a love for rowing on the Laune river with the local rowing club, before going on to become a world rowing champion, and Irish Olympian at Tokyo 2021.
The final guest RTE/ TG4 video journalist & filmmaker Seán Mac an tSíthigh spoke about his life chronicling everyday life in west Kerry, the people and the place, as well as his interest in the night sky and its connection to Irish folklore.
The sold out audience also enjoyed music from Dingle based contemporary folk songwriter Riona Boland.
The event was supported by Culture Night and the Kerry County Arts Office. Taking place every few months, The OtherSide features a wide range of guests from actors, musicians and stand-up comedians to political figures, sports people and local legends.
