A MAN who falsely claimed he was from the ESB, robbed an elderly woman’s home in Connolly Park last Friday.
The man gained access by saying he needed to check the switches in the house. He distracted her and took a large sum of money which she had set aside for Christmas.
Gardai are appealing to anyone in the Connolly Park area between 12noon and 1pm who saw anything suspicious to contact them at Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
