TASTE Kerry are organising a mouth-watering events in the Dome and the Square to highlight the best the county has to offer when it comes to cuisine during the Festival.
Organised as part of this years Rose of Tralee International Festival, visitors will have the opportunity to taste and sample a wide and varied selection of Kerry produce at ‘The Kerry Food And Drink Experience’ which takes place at The Pavilion in the Dome on Saturday, August 20 from 2pm to 5pm.
Some of the finest food and drink producers in the county will exhibit their products and there will be three cookery demos from three different chefs on the day; Chef Noel Keane from Eabha Joans Restaurant, Listowel; Chef Sid Sheehan from Nourish and Chef Mark Murphy from the Dingle Cookery School.

Along with this, the event will provide people with an opportunity to network with key stakeholders involved in the Food and Drink sector in Kerry.
The following day, Sunday, August 21 from 3-5pm sees a special ‘Ready Steady Cook’ event where Deputy Michael Healy Rae, writer Billy Keane and Radio Kerry’s Brendan Fuller will be showing their culinary skills with top Kerry chefs.
Philip Brazil from Sheen Falls Lodge and Michael Healy Rae are up against Armel Whyte of Allo’s, Listowel and Billy Keane; Simon Regan of Hotel Europe and Brendan Fuller are up against Louise Brosnan of Restaurant Ida’s in Dingle.
