ANOTHER week down so it’s time to relax and enjoy the weekend. But how will you spend your time after the shopping?

FRIDAY

1. Party on down…

The minute the clock struck midnight on Sunday night, taking us into December, was the signal for the official start of Party Season™.

If you’re not going to your work Christmas party this weekend, you and your friends can still have your own bash in the many restaurants and pubs in town. The Brogue is a great place to go for a bite to eat while The Abbey and The Blasket offer numerous opportunities to let the hair down after the working week.

2. The Butterfly effect…

The Butterfly Project is holding a music event in the Fels Point Hotel at 8.30pm. The group raises awareness within the community about LGBT bullying and other issues.

The concept of the event is bringing different cultures from around Kerry to showcase their talents in music which will show support for the LGBT Community and their allies.

Tickets are just €5 and there are some great bands playing.
