Tommy Carr, was speaking to journalist Jackie Cahill in the Irish Examiner where he said Tyrone are the only side capable of stopping Dublin from retaining their crown.

“If you watch the League final, how laboured they are became so evident as the game went on. Tyrone are the type of team that Dublin hate playing against. They’re the only team capable of doing it,” said Carr, who managed Dublin between 1999 and 2001.

Carr has had a few miserable outings against Kerry in his time as a manager. He famously uttered something to Maurice Fitzgerald when taking that sideline ball in the 2001 All-Ireland quarter final in Thurles. He also managed Roscommon when Kerry beat them in the 2003 All-Ireland quarter-final.
